  • Interaction (Human-Environment)
  • Region
  • Movement
  • PLACE:Human Characteristics of a Place:People change the environment by building roads, building dams, etc.Physical Characteristics of a Place: Landforms, bodies of water, climate, plant and animal life are some of the physical features of a place.LOCATIONAbsolute Location: EXACT Latitude and Longitude Brasilia – the capital of Brazil 16˚S, 48˚W The latitude & longitude of James R. Geisler Middle School: 42˚31’N, 83˚30’W (absolute location)ABSOLUTE LOCATION using latitude and longitude readingsLOCATIONRelative Location: Gives the location of a place relative to some known landmark.
