Workshop activities and finished work will be scrutinized as evidence. Notebooks will be required. Logs will form essential evidence, and this includes blogged entries, director notes, comments and evaluations. Evidence: This will be in the form of blogs/logs, observed participation, director observation, written, research notes and audio productions completed This project is inextricably linked to all other production   THE BRIEF  As a media trainee you will be expected to work effectively with others in a team (company) setting to achieve a common aim. This process will give you the opportunity to work as an individual and within small teams, depending upon the production requirements. All productions will involve you being responsible for planning, organising and undertake a range of interviews. Within this unit you will undertake an interview with a person of interest, gather Vox Pops from the general public and take part in a press conference where you will be competing against everybody else to ask your questions. Write notes throughout and submit these on the blogs and/or in the form of a report, ensuring you record detailed peer and director feedback. Your journey and person al development is vital, so it is important that you don’t just write a timetable of what you have done, but continuously ana lyse your own and others performance throughout. You will also be taking part in a variety of group discussions, blogging, sharing and discussions and this will contribute to relevant units and individual course requirements. What you need to do    Explain the different types and styles of interviews include the techniques used (U36, GC1)    Demonstrating your understanding of question types including open, closed, multiple and direct question (U36, GC1)    Undertake at least one case study of an interview to assist you in explaining your understanding (U36, GC1)   Conduct research keeping all documentation for your interview(s) (U36, GC2)   Within your blogs discuss the purpose and style of your interview(s) (U36, GC2)   Explain the purpose and style of your interview(s) (U36, GC3)   Record an interview with a person of interest of your choosing (U36, GC4)   Produce several different styles and/or types of interview feature (U36, GC4)   Reflect on each interview and explain the techniques and question types used.
